Serenity version 3

I am happy to announce a huge update for my primary CodeCanyon project: Serenity. Version three brings a whole new look and operation to an already awesome little dashboard. With version 3, which I am calling: "Redux," installation and configuration have both received tremendous upgrades thanks to my work on my new Ivory component framework. What that means in a nutshell is:

  • You don't have to edit configuration files anymore during the installation!
  • All preferences, theme options, and translation operations are handled via the web interface with no need to edit the configuration files!

If that's not enough awesome, the application itself looks sleeker and offers new powerful workflow customization features. Templates for jobs, tasks, invoices, and more is now a thing! You've been asking for it, and now it's here. PayPal integration is also now a thing, using the Braintree SDK, along with the familiar Stripe payment option giving you even more flexibility to receive payments online. Themes are still a big part of Serenity, and with version 3 the ability to create custom themes is even easier than before. Shortly after launch, I will have new, in-depth documentation posted on the Serenity help page that covers everything you need to know to create your own custom Serenity themes and plugins! I am making tremendous efforts to ensure Serenity remains a highly competitive PHP dashboard with a very reasonable price-tag.

Version 3 will be sold separately on CodeCanyon. However, I will still develop and support version 2.x.x indefinitely, but I do expect to flip over completely to Serenity 3 by the end of 2019. The biggest reason I decided to verge Serenity 3 off into a separate product is because of how old version 2 is. The amount of traffic on CodeCanyon for products as old as Serenity version 2, is negligible and the sales are starting to show that. I will be posting more information and additional screenshots on the Serenity product page in the coming months. Be on the lookout!
