Entity development coming to a close

Due to very poor sales and visitor analytics on CodeCanyon, I plan on releasing three more updates to Entity before officially stopping development on it. There have been a lot of lessons learned from working on such a monstrous codebase and I intend to port my experience to a new project I am currently calling "Silver." I am almost finished with version 2.0.4 and will be releasing it to CodeCanyon for approval by next weekend. With this next update comes a lot of bug-fixes for the time entry system and the ability to edit permissions based on a more flexible JSON implementation.

I was never able to implement a good database upgrade option and due to this, you will need to perform a clean install of Entity if you are currently using 2.0.3. Entity will be four years old by the time it is retired and it has had a good run, but unfortunately it just isn't living up to par with my original intentions. I have had a lot of frustration trying to make Entity a modular and easily extendable application, but the technical cost of getting it modernized outweighs the effort and work it would take to do so.

I will leave Entity on the CodeCanyon marketplace until 01 January 2018. At that time, I will be deleting it from my portfolio. Thank you to all who supported it!
